Karim’s expertise and experience is around driving operational efficiencies using technology & innovation with a strong focus on the customer experience.

Karim spent 15 years at McDonald’s leading various IT & Operational initiatives for both the US and the International Markets. Karim has an in-depth knowledge on in-restaurant technology specifically around Point of Sale (POS) and customer self-order platforms including Kiosk and Mobile. Karim’s vast experience includes software development, vendor management, leading large scale IT deployments, and new concept development / restaurant innovation.

He is best known for his thought leadership, collaboration and strong communication skills with a deep background in restaurant operations and technology.

Karim holds a M.B.A. from the University of Illinois, Chicago where focused on Management & Entrepreneurship. He also holds a B.S. in Information Technology from DePaul University.

Karim is not only passionate about restaurant technology, but also food & sports. He loves spending time with his family, trying new restaurants, and watching his favorite Chicago teams in action.
